About The Union Hotel

We had my daughter's 3rd birthday party set up in the park but was cancelled due to heavy rain. We asked Ashley and Chris (bar staff) on short notice if they could help us out with a space to host the 50+ people who were coming. Literally an hour before the party started. Not only did they accommodate us, they made sure that we were well attended to. From opening the bar for us upstairs (for all the parents) to the clean up and perfect set up stairs. Had no idea the upstairs area was so well set up. Everyone at the party had an amazing time. Food was fantastic and can't say enough how happy we were with the service. Recommend for any parents looking for a location for kids birthday, or any birthday for that matter. Thanks union hotel. Love ya work and will definitely return

Place is really good to come but the way they price their food specifically the sides with the steaks are crazy.

Eye fillet 200g costs $39 and it comes completely by itself. To get anything with it its $5 PER SIDE. The way they price their steaks and sides are literally the only downside to this place

Had my sons 21st in the venue rooms. It was a perfect night. All the staff allowed to set-up prior to the event, and the staff were very professional and helpful on the night. The food was absolutely brilliant and many of our family friends also commented how good the food and venue was. Thank you !!

I booked a work function for 40 staff at The Union last week and would certainly do it again. They provided me with the contact details of their regular trivia provider, who was a great host. The function area (Rooftop Bar) was a surprisingly large space and worked very well for our event, with a weather-proof outdoor area/ private bar and warm indoor room with AV setup. Food was tasty (with decent vego options) and delivered quickly, bar staff were polite and helpful, and the manager helped the event progress very professionally. We had an excellent evening, thanks to all involved.

Nice fit out and atmosphere but the food is seriously below average and extremely overpriced. My partner order a $30 pie thinking it would be some amazing homemade pie, given they were charging $30 for it. But no sadly it was just a regular microwave pie that they've bought from a supplier and chucked in the oven. I had a $42 steak that was so dry and overcooked, it ended up being dinner for my dog. Also had one staff member on the bar on a busy Friday night.
