We are regular visitors to the beautiful town of Rutherglen. Tonight we had the privilege of dining at the Victoria Hotel. The transformation of the hotel is truly amazing. That is just the start. We were made to feel so welcome by the owners Kate and Matt. Great choice of pre dinner drinks followed by a diverse menu supported by some enticing specials. The food was so enjoyable. The recommended wine complimented the meal perfectly. First thing to do is get yourself to this amazing region. Next thing to do is book a table at this beautiful hotel. You will be so happy you did.

Lovely freshly renovated and beautifully restored old hotel in the middle of Rutherglen. Our suite was spacious and very comfortable. Easy check in and check out. We enjoyed the restaurant as well where the food and service were first rate. Highly recommended.

Sharing lunch and drinks with our Melbourne guests we were all in awe at the quality of the restoration. A new benchmark has been set for locals and city visitors. Food quality and dining ambience leaves many top city restaurants for dead.

Beautiful historic pub hotel that has been recently restored to an exceptionally high standard. The rooms were styled in black and white decor (art deco); king size bed; fabulous pillows (so important); federation shutters; enormous bathroom; fabulous restaurant and bar.

Guests also have access to a lovely lounge area upstairs, kitted out with a gas fireplace, chesterfields which has a lovely ambiance and also access to the balcony, which has some tables and chairs. This would be a lovely location to grab a drink and sit in privacy and comfort.

We absolutely loved our two night stay here and the location right in the middle of Main St, is just a short walk to all the other great cafes and restaurants.

Beautifully refurbished suites with a separate living area, right in the heart of the town. Super comfortable bed and top of the range linen. The hotel dining room and bar also beautifully restored. Our dinner was superb with lovely staff. A magnificent two night stay. Our room looked onto the balcony which was a great place to soak up the sun.
