Victoria Hotel, Wagga Wagga NSW

Menu listed items that could be made gluten and dairy free. Went to order the open brisket burger only to be told they couldn't do it.
Asked what they could do and ordered the salt and pepper squid as this was one of the options they gave me.
10 minutes later they come tell me they can't do it so I asked for a refund.
To add to the drama I had to fight to get the credit card transaction fee refunded.
Would not recommend this hotel.

This is a nice pub with good ambience. The meals were excellent, inexpensive and the service was fast. There are a wide range of beers on tap. I enjoyed my visit

I've been a loyal patron of the Victoria Hotel in Wagga Wagga for the past 8 years, and it has consistently exceeded my expectations. The trivia and karaoke nights are a blast, thanks to the engaging and energetic team who make these events unforgettable. The general atmosphere is always welcoming and vibrant, making it a go-to spot for a great time. Had an awesome time at the Vic Hotel in Wagga! The service was spot on, and the server Andrew, really made us feel welcome. We had a blast playing pool, and the nightlife was just what we were looking for - great vibes and perfect for a night of dancing. Definitely a cool spot to hang out and have some fun! Apparently they do trivia too! Will definitely be back.

Went out on Saturday night with a friend. Went to the toilet on my own. I don't know why the two younge female staff members thought I had someone else in there with me having an extra special time but they banged on the door extremely aggressively. I thought it was someone being impatient to use the toilet. When I told them to go away they again aggressively banged on my door. I told them to go away because I was doing a wee. All they said was "oh, are you doing a wee or have you got someone in there with you." I was very confused. They waited for me to exit and looked fully convinced of catching me in the act. No apology, nothing. Yes, I had been drinking. No I was not entertaining anyone in my cubicle. I may have been catching my breath. I don't know but maybe they had the wrong cubicle. I thought staff were there to make you feel safe not invade your privacy when there is nothing going on. Maybe some more training wouldn't go astray. This experience has been on my mind ever since. It's quite a traumatic incident for me.
