A great place for a drink and meal after a ride on the rail trail and Sunday afternoon they have live music in the beer garden and an in ground pool for a swim to cool off

Quiet quaint hotel bypassed by the opening of the motorway some years ago. Locals love it, swimming pool for customers to use, basketball court also. Unusual in a hotel environment. Across the road from part of the Tweed Valley Rail trail. Service was great, friendly. Beer was cold. Food was fresh and the Grandchester steak was tender and tasty. All of my party liked their meals. Will go back. Our session extended to 6 hours, a sign of comfort and good company.

All were received in less than 15 minutes and were delicious. Staff were pleasant and I appreciated the complimentary chocolate Easter eggs they had on Easter Sunday.
