All these reviews expecting fancy cocktails and red carpets?? Relax....ITS A PUB! Pool table, TAB, Pokies, great staff....what else do you need?

During my recent visit to The Vine Hotel in Richmond, I was unfortunately not impressed with my experience. While the location may be convenient, the poor clientele, the smell of stale beer, TAB and the pokies made for an unpleasant atmosphere.

The beer did not live up to the pub's self-proclaimed "nice cold beer" status. I found it to be rather average and uninspired.

The outdoor seating area was also underwhelming, with a cramped and uncomfortable atmosphere. The poor upkeep of the pub, combined with the uninviting clientele, made for an overall unenjoyable experience.

In conclusion, I would not recommend The Vine Hotel. The poor atmosphere, subpar beer, and uncomfortable seating area all added up to a disappointing visit. If you're looking for a quality drinking experience in Richmond, I suggest looking elsewhere.

amazing staff, super polite, friendly and beautiful young lady with the green hair and had another young lady with brown hair they were both absolutely lovely. thank you so much for such wonderful service and a lovely chat girls:)

Rude service. No ATM beer was not cold. And the service staff with the green hair has no customer service.

Completely unprofessional of an evening. Staff are great during the day! The need for the pokies are way to high! Especially with the staff that have an insight! The staff are usually great, different times of day is a different story!

This place is solely for old alcoholics or pokies addicts. The fact that it opens at 8am tells you everything. I don't generally like gentrification but this is one pub that could actually benefit from it - such a good spot, such a terrible pub.

Our group all smelt and tasted beers and unfortunately agreed the lines mustn't have been cleaned. Big turn off unfortunately.

There are some great pubs on Bridge Road. Sadly, this isn't one of them.

this is not a place for vibing. this is a place for going into debt. do not be fooled by the open smokers area that is smaller than my linen cupboard. id rather hang out at centrelink, they have comfy chairs and the vibes are way better. yeah im serious.

staff are lovely tho, its no fault of theirs! theyre v friendly and are the saving grace of this pub. its all just unfortunate.

Want to talk with your friends... want to have a fun drink... want to have a good gambling experience WELL DONT COME HERE!!!!! We got told to shush multiple times and told our silent dancing on the spot was too annoying for the people that came here to gamble in peace! An absolute joke!!!! DONT COME HERE THE MANAGEMENT INCLUDING THE OLD MAN AND TOY BOY IS HORRIBLE

Manager was very rude. Not a professional at all. Closed the venue doors even only for gaming by 3.20am even advertised 4am Closing time. Very rude language and made racist comments when ask him the venue closes at 3:30am or 4am . Never coming back here. Can't believe how racist this guy was.

Great place

I have been a regular and member of the Vine Hotel for many years but unfortunately since new management/owners took over the place has gone downhill rapidly most of the regulars don't drink there any more they won't even provide outdoor umbrellas and expect people to sit under the scorching sun and even Carlton Draught and Great Northern Supercrisp on tap taste off with a bad after-taste it's a shame to see a pub in a key location to get this bad let's hope they can bring it back to the great pub it used to be!

Been going for years but appalled by rude aggressive security guy on Saturday. They are not covid rules compliant. Wrote an email to them 2 days ago. No response. Not hospitality industry minimum standard. Avoid!

Good TAB pub with affordable meals. Some nice outdoor tables for people watching & catching some sun. Especially good value on Friday nights - $5 schooners of beer & $5 pizza!
