Watergardens Hotel

I thought it was incredible yesterday, I will come back again, congratulations to everyone on the team, the food was great, the service from the reception to the waitresses. everything was wonderful!

I havent visited Watergardens hotel buffet for a year and unfortunately it has declined terribly.
I dont know if the chef's were having a bad day but the food was tasteless. Gravy was watery, and seafood wasn't very fresh. There was a lack of variety in food with near to a third of the buffet warmers empty. The deserts were ok. Sticky date pudding was the best! Of all the dishes available the curries were the better tasting options. This spot is usually a favourite for us which is why we make the 40 minute drive.
The parking is good, location is good and the customer service was and always has been good. I will visit again and hopefully be able to write a review that above 4*

This is definitely a perfect place for families. Theres such a wide variety of food like pasta, pizza, noodles, soup, curries, salads, roast vegetables, seafood, heaps of different types of meats. I personally loved the bean salad and the calamari rings. But the best part of the entire thing was 100% the desserts. Omg i have never had anything better in my life. The chocolate mousse was top notch, so was the creme brulee, sticky date pudding, chocolate pudding, ice cream, and literally all the desserts. I would go here again JUST for the desserts. Super friendly staff to!

local buffet pub feed, very busy on a Monday night as it's kids eat free. lots of food including seafood, oysters, pippis as well as pasta, rice, roast and desserts.

reservations recommended because of how busy this can get. lots of parking available outside. When we went on a monday, the food was constantly refilled so we didn't have to run out for long. big variety of food. the desserts are yummy, and there's an area for the kids to play.

pokies in the next room, the buffet area is good for a function too with the big space.

I don't understand how seniors get a discount but people that have a blue pension card that are disabled and actually need a discount don't.
There are seniors that retire multimillionaire's and get a discount. Disabled people on a pension that aren't seniors have to pay full price. Something needs to be done about this. Discounts should go to people with no money NOT multimillionaire retired people. Anyone with a blue pension card should get a discount. Especially disabled people. I am disabled and have to count every cent. Coming here once or twice a month for lunch is an absolute luxury.
