Good service. Their food and beer are excellent

Tried these guys out for lunch on a busy Saturday with some friends, first impressions were great, very big shop space, heaps of seating available, they have a great outdoor lawn space also, quite a range of beers available on tap, I tried their tasting paddle of 4 beers of your own choice for 15 dollars, though a way of identifying which beers are which would have been nice as I didn't see what order they put them in on the paddle and 3 of the 4 were the exact same colour. They were all top drops nevertheless, one other small criticism would be none of the beers had any sort of head. Perhaps it's the way they clean their glasses? They all looked flat sadly!
Food was ok, a reasonable sized menu to choose from, few parmis available, 4 or 5 burgers too, a number of salads ect. The missus opted for the southern fried chicken burger, I had the smoked salmon salad, it was nice but nothing to write home about.
Another criticism was I went to order a coffee at the end as they had a lovely coffee machine at the end of the bar but they don't serve coffee at lunch times, only in the mornings, I didn't know they were open for breakfast!

Food was amazing. Customer service was AMAZING. Huge shout out to Xena who went the extra mile to make our evening wonderful. After telling her of a bad experience last night at another bistro, she brought out a taste of their Gnocchi with garlic cream sauce to prove that some places can get it right, and boy was she right! Not only was the taste of gnocchi amazing, our schnitzel and parmigiana were superb, beautifully presented, generously sized and perfectly cooked for a good price. The salad was just as good, with actual salad ingredients instead of the normal leaves. Thomas the chef knew what he was doing. Everything was amazing. Could not recommend enough.

Awesome renovation to an old pub. The new bar and brewery on site has done it wonders. We came for a ski trip and stayed down the mountain. The footy was on the TV, Collingwood was winning, the 8x taps of beer were all delish and the food so good! Can't get better than that. I had a pasta and my mate the ribs and as you can see, the ribs were enormous- def going back for them. You're welcome!

Huge servings! The bar only stocks their own beer on tap but it's not a bad beer. Staff are super helpful and very friendly. Very warm inside. Everything is on ground level so easy accessibility for all.

A pleasant surprise for us. Not what we expected from the outside. Great brews and one of the best T-bones I've ever had. Nice atmosphere on a Friday night. Will cone again when next in Mt Beauty.

Deco has been updated, good menu, craft beers on tap. Bar staff friendly, but uninformed. We went to a "Meet the Brewers " tasting and Brewery tour. Advertised in a local newsletter as from 5-7 pm. We arrived a little early, ordered drinks and asked the bar staff. They asked what company we were from, no we're just public we said. Staff though it was an invitation only event. Groups of people arrived. No tasting table/bar/presentation set up, even 40 minutes later.
We ordered a couple of entrees and there was much confusion of availability of the chicken wings, then no blue cheese sauce (ok we'll have aoli) then when the wings arrived there was no sauce!!!
Bar staff approached and offered us to try the beers, but we had had enough experience by then and left

Enjoyed watching dragon boat races on the poundage then retired to West Peak for drinks and a beautiful lunch. We were then entertained with a Dragon dance by the Melbourne Chinese Youth club. An enjoyable experience for a Poppy, daughter and two grandchildren.

I'm visiting from Sydney to visit relatives and decided to go to west peak for pizzas. Wow. What amazing friendly service from the time I rang and booked a table to wonderful friendly service tonight. Andrew and especially Tarn who looked after us are exceptional employees So friendly but also professional. And the pizzas were amazing.

Wonderful menu and great atmosphere - I ordered a medium porterhouse steak - wow!! it was cooked perfectly - well done West Peak, just perfect ??'??

Decided to get takeaway woodfire pizza last night. And omg, what a joke. $120 worth of pizza and it was terrible. Soggy bases, ingredients not tasting nice, chicken on the chicken pizza we had was dry and had no flavour. An absolute disappointment for the money we spent.

After arriving in Tawonga quite late on a Friday night we found that most places were booked out. We received a recommendation that West Peak would likely be accommodating and their food would be good. When we arrived the venue was quite busy, we asked if we could have a table for 2, the woman told us that we were in luck as another booking had cancelled. We sat down and went through the menu and the beer list, both had some good options to choose from, sometimes it's hard to find craft beer in the country but these guys delivered.

The best part of the menu is the option to order either a full sized or a half sized parma, more places need to offer this! The Mexican parma was delicious, and the woman serving us told us it was a good choice and their chef enjoys making it.

I would definitely eat there again to try some other food.

Absolutely worst place I have ever visited. Booked and confirmed at 5pm for a 7pm dinner. By 8:30pm we had not received our food. By following up we were told they had no record of our order and told it was our fault for booking? Not sure how giving advanced notice makes their job so difficult. The staff member than argued with us about our payment and told us it would be rushed through. 30 minutes later and watching multiple meals for newcomers come out we asked for a refund so we could leave. We then received more attitude from the staff around our lack of patience. Your kidding me right?
Do not go to this place, go elsewhere if you actually want to receive your food.
If your interested in sitting for 3.5 hours and getting nothing for the small fortune you forked out to eat their and get yelled at by the rude staff go ahead.

Good, friendly pub. Tasty food. Nice crispy chips. Helpful bar staff. Lovely fire going.

From the exterior this place looks like an out of date local tavern. However inside is a cosy and warm environment, child friendly and modern. The food is really good ! Typical chicken parmas and steak with salad and chip options. Reasonably priced too..

We had the best time at West Peaks! So beautiful sitting outside on a Summer afternoon. The food was delicious, and the service was fantastic. Thanks for an awesome dinner! We will be back!

We were travelling from Queensland and stopped at this restaurant to have lunch. The food was absolutely amazing and staff were so friendly. One of the best food I ever had. Kids loved the pizzas. Highly recommended ???'??

Lovely spot for dinner. All the food was fresh and well made in house. Awesome room we could let bub play in too, right next to us.

Overall a pretty nice place. Far from perfect, but better than ok. Menu is pretty basic and limited, very much a "pub" experience. Outdoor seating is much nicer than inside. You have to order at the bar, but they do then deliver to your table.

The steak was pretty juicy. The chicken in the salad is a bit dry, but the salmon and squids were sweet and tender.
