We celebrated my 60th birthday with 30 family and friends for dinner and everything was perfect.
I would like to especially thank Paris for her assistance - from when we first went in to enquire about the venue in July, to us requesting some alterations to our menu and then for making sure the night went smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble for her and her professional service is a good reflection on Westwaters overall.

We had the most amazing staff member Taylah serving us in the bistro, the service was amazing. She made us feel welcomed and she went above and beyond to make sure our night was pleasant. Will definitely come back again.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the West waters hotel Bistro, and I must commend the exceptional service provided by our waiter, Christian. Although he joined us halfway through our meal, Christian's friendly demeanor and attentive nature quickly made a positive impact on our dining experience.

When we encountered an issue with one of the dishes, Christian promptly apologised and took it to the chef to address the problem. Additionally, when we requested the cake we had brought for a special occasion, Christian handled our request with utmost professionalism, which left a lasting impression.

His professionalism and warm hospitality significantly enhanced our dining experience. If you're planning to visit the Bistro at West waters hotel, I highly recommend asking for Christian. He truly made our night memorable.

Having enjoyed 2 lovely meals at the bistro we will be returning whenever we can. The choices for the Seniors Meals area very nice, well priced and delicious. When this is not available the other menu options are equally tasty. We enjoyed the paella and the pumpkin gnocci. They were both incredibly tasty and very generous portions. Staff are friendly and helpful. It's a lovely venue with great views of the lake. Definately recommended the drive down there.

We were a big group dining at the bistro. Staff forgot my meal, my whole table receives their food. No one checked in on the table to see if anyone was missing anything. I had to go up and ask where my food is. I receive my food when nearly everyone else at my table is finished. Staff were apologetic but still it's annoying, it's not like it was very busy at the time. Once I received my food the Parma was good but chips were cold.

This could have been prevented if staff actually checked the order to make sure everyone was accounted for or checked in at the table frequently.
I hadn't been here in years and honestly don't think I will come back. Disappointing really.

Food is delicious. The wait staff were amazing and professional. They bent over backwards to ensure everything was as planned. Special shout out to Trista. Love your work .. highly recommended! Music is great. All in all a great place to chill

Ok this place is losing me, which is disappointing since this is our local pub/bistro. Dishes have gone significantly smaller and more expensive. Food on this visit was average, well lets say 50/50 some things were good, but had someone on our table send the steak back due to being over cooked.
These places you expect value for money.
And staff here can also be 50/50, had times where staff or our waitress just seemed like she was ignoring us and just didn't want to work and we were waiting for her to take our order for a while, but then had other times were they have been great.
This place used to be great, but just feels like its trying to be fancy, when it doesn't need to be, and its starting to slip.

Had a lovely dinner and once again service and food was exceptional! Lily remembered us from our last dining experience and we carried on our joke with a good laugh. AJ you are absolutely professional, welcoming and generous with your time and love your job. The vibe is wonderful. Thank you for another fantastic evening to all the staff.

Been to the bistro over 10 times and has never failed to impress.

Ambience: Open & western, facing the lake. Plenty of seating available although it does get busy on the weekends. Light music would be preferred to cut on the excited banter of the guests.
There is also a small play area for the kids to entertain themselves. Outdoor seating is available as well.

Food: Great quality, presented beautifully and generous portions. Value for the money spent.

Service: Quick and with a smile. They are happy to carter to any requests.

Highly recommend this place.

My husband and I went to Westwaters Hotel for dinner tonight and unfortunately we were served up the worst meal ever.
We both ordered two different steak meals and they were both like leather. I never knew Eye Fillet could be so dry and rubbery.
This was the first time we have ever sent a meal back anywhere, and gone home for toasted sandwiches.
However, the wait staff, in particular Jerome, was very understanding and was very happy to assist in a friendly manner.

We ate dinner here tonight. The service was OK however the food very average.

The salmon was over cooked and dry....I cook a better salmon at home TBH.

The pulled pork spring rolls on the specials were pretty good however.

I can't say I will be rushing back here!

Having attended a function at Westwaters Hotel & Entertainment Complex , the experience was quite pleasant.
The function room itself was very nicely lit and decorated, with a bar to cater for the attendees. The service provided by the staff was very friendly and professional.
All ammenities are at hand and should you require some quiet time away from the music at the function, you can always sit down and relax at one of the many comfortable chairs and/or couches that are on different areas of the lobby.

Whats more there is even a Hotel , a very well decorated Restaurant , a live music Cafe Bar, Sports Bar entertainment area, a Pokie Venue and outstanding outside area views.

Definitely a place to visit to catch a bite, a drink, play some Pokies or to hold an event at its function room.

Lovely meal. Bit pricey but well worth it. Good to find a hotel that supports the local branch of the RSL. Friday night raffles and good conversation.

Had my birthday lunch with a group of 12 people. Our two pasta dishes were delicious but the other meals mostly parmas/chips, fish and chips and porterhouse and chips were over cooked and the chips were dry. Very disappointing; need to lift their game.

Waited just over an hour total to get absolutely NOTHING but 2 hungry, angry kids and an angry husband.

We had high hopes for these guys tonight cause their menu looked impressive.. But for me to have to ask to have my order taken after waiting 25 minutes, then having to wait another half hour to find someone to check on our order only to tell us the docket was lost is just BS. I bet the order was never entered in the first place.

You would think that the staff would have checked on us after seeing us sitting there with no food or drink for so long but nope! Nothing.
So stay away and don't even bother with this place. It wasn't even a busy service!

The few times I have been here I have found the service to be average. This may be due to poorly trained staff with little attention to detail. At an establishment such as this, I expect the service to match. Or perhaps they simply don't put on enough staff. Therefore, service suffers. Otherwise, it's a nice place to visit in a nice location.

I have performed at WestWaters twice over the past few weeks and have been so heart warmed by the beautiful and supportive nature of the staff. In particular, Leyla and Annie both times. They are so friendly and helped me with anything I needed when setting up/completing my sets. It is so great to come in and be welcomed by such lovely people!

Went here for dinner, and let's just I left a little bit disappointed. Waited what seemed like an hour to order after asking for table service. Arrived at 7, ordered just before 8. The food portions on some items were tiny for what was priced at $55 and cold, the butter on top of the steak didnt even melt, and to top it all off, I ordered a specific salad because of the cherry tomatoes and it didn't come with any. What seemed to be the manager took it off the bill, but not the point. Another couple asked a simple question 3 times before actually getting the answer. Mind you, it wasn't busy at all. All in all, I'd give it another go only because the view was amazing and the kids had a place to play after dinner

Food was decent, did have to flag down someone to take our order after waiting a while. Portion size was okay depending on what you ordered, some were good sized and some were a bit smaller. Good variety of food on the menu.

We had a fabulous dinner on Saturday night with friends. The food was good but the service was even better. Mia our young waitress engaged with us so well with a good sense of humour that showed skills beyond her years. We definitely recommend WestWaters for dinner the ambience with the magnificent view of the lake is hard to beat.

Unfortunately their 3 course Christmas Day lunch this year was huge let down (and waste of money). Last year was much better. Both entree options I was unable to eat, when I asked for the vegetarian option it was refused as I hadn't let the venue know beforehand. The waitress then questioned me as to how I could be vegetarian when I ordered the beef for a main meal. Well excuse me Sarah, I didn't tell you I was vegetarian!! I said I wanted the veggie option as I was unable to eat the other entrees (due to food allergies, intolerances). Found it appalling. I paid for a 3 course meal and was unable to have an entree because the venue wasn't able to cater for one more veggie option. The main meal was average. And our table was forgotten about when it came to desert. We won't be coming here again!

Went at a busy time and they still found a place for 3 adults and 2 children, lots of room for everyone, very clean, peaceful and complimentary activities bag for the boys. Service excellent as was the food and drinks and it didn't cost the earth.
Cosy little restaurants are nice but so are large hotels with impressive entrance foyer, galleries, decorations etc. Be great for celebrating an occasion.

The accommodation is quite nice and the rooms are well presented and the house keeping is brilliant.

Unfortunately the bistro is an absolute disgrace. Eating here for 17 nights it only got worse not better.
Orders were constantly sent out wrong over a number of occasions,
The middle aged girl with glasses running the show was rude and the food quality was not up to scratch.
It's such a shame as the accommodation is quite good but the bistro is an absolute joke.

I've eaten here at the WestWaters Bistro a few times over the years, having moved to Melbourne (Caroline Springs) just a few years ago. I have to say that for what it is, this place tries its best to accommodate you and make you happy.

The staff here are definitely overworked though, but they still serve you with a smile. On most occasions, the food is impeccable and delicious. However, I've noticed of late that when there aren't enough staff to service the Bistro areas, the food is dry and burnt. This is probably due to food being left to the few floor staff who are serving customers at their tables. Understandable that the food has been left at the kitchen and is dry or burnt by the time the staff manage to get around to our own table.

The last two meals I had consisted of steak and seafood pasta for my partner and me. It was delicious on the less busy night, but the steak was dry, and the pasta was cold on a busy night. We counted over 130 customers on the busy night, and there were only 3 waiters! Having run restaurants myself, I felt bad for both the waiters and the cooks in the kitchen. Management should really fix these resourcing issues and stop overworking the staff.

Every time I've been there the staff have been so lovely, but the food has been unpredictable in terms of quality. I think we've worked out the formula: Just go eat there only on nights that are not busy. You will have a great time and be very happy you did. Always avoid the WestWaters Bistro when it's busy!

Went down to the bistro for a quite dinner, stayed for the nice lake views and lovely ambient atmosphere of the restaurant. The seafood pasta I ordered was the perfect portion paired with my red wine. The desserts were also quite lovely, my wife enjoyed them. Regarding the service, it was quite awesome. Plates were cleared without being asked, our waitress "vivian" was perfect, couldn't ask for more.

The views around the area is quite superb, the lake is a wonderful walk around. The rooms are okay, the beds are comfy. The swimming pool is quite good, quite lonely at times so it's great for the kids. The bistro was a highlight for me, the servers were quite lovely on a Friday night, the steak we ordered were both medium Rare like we asked, and the Mushroom Sauce is yum. Will definitely be back.

I've stayed here a few times recently so feel I have decent info on how things are at the moment -
Location is great, overlooking a small lake with a walking track and playground, and across from a shopping centre with pretty much everything you might need. Plenty of free parking inside the building.
Accommodation is lovely, clean, comfortable, front desk staff are professional overall, some friendlier than others. All rooms have at least a small balcony. Good amenities inside rooms including tea/coffee, shower products, sewing kid and a vanity kit I like which includes makeup wipes, cotton buds and a nail file. Housekeeping staff are friendly and considerate.
The restaurant has nice views of the lake, the food is good, I personally would rather pay a bit less and get a smaller portion, and service is hit and miss. The staff seem pretty good but not trained to follow up once meals are delivered. The bar was unable to make me a dirty martini which was a bit disappointing.
Other facilities - the gym seems serviceable, the pool is very small for laps but usually I have it to myself which helps, the spa is great.
A couple of minor issues have occurred during stays which staff have been happy to address ASAP.

Average big breakfast, Sausages were like nuggets - good poached eggs - where was the Bacon? Where had that oil been that you fried the nugget size hash browns in? I paid $26.00. Pleasant views - staff at the door a bit rough around the edges - Staff in gaming room terrific (don't gamble - only went in there by accident) - if you want an ordinary breakfast and good coffee in this part of the world early in the morning - go here - no table service - go to counter to order - toilets need to be refreshed

Had dinner last night at the Bistro with my big extended family to celebrate a birthday. Initially, it was chaotic due to a Booking issue but was later resolved by Seth, the Supervisor.
The entre soup was salty which we raised to Seth's attention, and he offered to replace with cheesy garlic bread and croquettes which we accepted. The rest of the dinner went well, tasty food and generous servings.
It was a busy Saturday night at the Bistro, but overall, my family and I had an enjoyable night. The staff were all hardworking and friendly. Thumbs up to Seth??'???'???'?

I really liked the Hotel, it was the first time I've been. There is heaps of parking. I went to the bistro for dinner on a Thursday night, there were quite a few people so it seems it's popular. I had salmon, it was nice. There is outdoor seating under heaters, there's a great view of the lake. The place is nice. I sat inside. There's booths and tables to sit at, there's plenty of room. I had to order the food and drink at the bar then they bring it all to the table. The food prices are medium, not cheap.

First time I have eaten at the Bistro. Great menu. So much delicious food to choose from. Service was very friendly. When the food arrived, it was very tasty, good sized portions, and very filling.The roasted beetroot salad was yummy.Wine by the glass is a good serve unlike other places that rip you off.Atmosphere was very pleasant. We were unable to book a booth for a little more privacy but nevertheless we enjoyed the experience. Will definitely return.

The Food was Lovely and the Staff were helpful. The Venue is kept very Clean and Comfortable.I only ask, if they can please offer more Vegan Options. It was disappointing to see only 2 Vegan options on the Menu... 1 was a Salad and the other was Bruschetta.They were delicious, but I would have loved the option of a Warm Main Meal.To the Chef:Please Consider introducing Vegan Noodle Stir-fry, Vegan Risotto and Vegan Creamy Gnocchi...Everyone, even Non Vegan will love it.

Food was ok (had the prawn risotto). They're on a limited menu right now, which means no gluten and dairy free entrees or desserts, which is disappointing. However, the service was great and staff were happy and willing to adapt the mains so I had something to eat.
