Whitehorse Inn Hotel

Came for the Christmas lunch today. I realise is was only $90 each,but certainly overpriced. The charcuterie plate meant to serve 4,at best was only enough for 2 people. Well, what do I say about main meal?? All veg ,from packets from supermarket freezer . Didn't have dessert. But what aggravated the most was as I was queing I asked the girl behind the bar for a white wine. She asked me which one,I just requested a house white wine to have with my main meal.well,what a performance that was. I just said to her "don't bother love, I can't stand here all afternoon for 60 MLS white wine. Her attitude,just disgraceful.I would probably give the meal a 5/10. The service a 2/10. She obviously didn't want to be working Christmas day,but don't take it out on the clientele.

Went here the other night with my whole family. Food was amazing but I was very impressed with our service by Kat. She was very knowledgeable about the options on the menu and helped my son with his order as he is very picky and she adjusted the order to suit him. She was very friendly. 100% recommend going here.

Nice meals very good prices, large schnitzel, cheesy garlick bread was very nice.
Staff friendly and attentive. A great dining experience, suits big groups and families as well as small intimate dining.

Loved it. Rooms were clean and tidy.The shower was hot with good water pressure. The biscuits with the tea and coffee were a great treat. Stayed there a bunch of nights after becoming homeless temporarily and was able to plan my next move. My highlight was talking to Sue the cleaner every morning. She didn't even mind me crying during the first couple of conversations we had😃 Thanks Sue xx

Meals were pretty good. I visited in 08/24 as many of these bad reviews are years old. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The only thing I could fault was the calamari, perfectly coated but it seemed a little old. Perhaps bought in bulk and had aged in the freezer. It was a little rubbery and tasted quite fishy as a result. Hubby enjoyed his seafood basket and our friend had a lovely chicken parmy which seems easy but easy to do badly. This was done well. I'd happily eat here again.
