Accommodation wise, It's pretty damn nice for where you are. Certainly better than I expected. It was cold at night, but the air-conditioning warmed the cabin up nice and quickly and quietly so in no time at all we were nice and toasty. Shower was hot, with decent pressure, but we kept it short so as not to waste any. Food was pretty awesome with the service being pretty good as well. 10/10 would stay here again rather than in Marree.

Most remote pub in Australia.
Interest8ng little pub.
No beer on tap, only cans available.
Great dining rooms and meals.
Certainly an experience and worth checking out.
Various accommodation available including camp-site both powered and non powered sites.

What a little gem. Great atmosphere, great service (fast, especially the food service, which is great), great staff (some many nationalities), cold beer and so much to look at.
Stay at the camp ground which has great facilities and a laundry if you need it.
A great stop along the Oonadatta track.

Delish burger for lunch. On the pricier side. Given the location it's acceptable.
Would prefer a meal on a plate. Bread boards are for buttering ya toast!

This pub offers a Little piece of history, the history and the experience was great, service from from a very young and new bar staff crew was great, they did a fantastic job on the bar.
Food... hmm... that was the let down, very basic and not too good. We ordered the porterhouse and got a very bland steak on a serve of MacDonald fries and a salad of cabbage and mayonnaise, the goat curry was not enough to feed a small child. Very dissatisfied with food, shame for the historical establishment.

Great outback pub with a limited Menu and the beer and other drinks all only served in cans. (seems to be an SA thing, Sub Licencing no glass.) The prices are a bit higher than elsewhere including other stops along the track, but anyway it's all about the experience and you couldn't pass through William Creek without stopping for at least a drink.

Stopped here on our way through. Such a classic outback pub. Good vibes, friendly staff, delicous food. Customer service could have be better but otherwise fine. Food was quick for service. Give a donation to staple your business card/id card etc in the pub. Short walk to the campground and air field near by. Overall a great iconic pub! We will be back one day...

A must stop for a drink. Donate to the RFDS and you can write on the wall (if u can find some space). So many things to look at will keep u busy in this little pub. Hospitality is awesome. You can also book a scenic flight from here.

Absolute top spot for one or two nights. Great little town with a great atmosphere.
A definite must stop when travelling the Oodnadatta Track. Really friendly staff and this place has one of the best vibes so far on our travels. Well done to all the staff that support Trevor and also to Trevor who also supports his staff, that why a lot of them come back to work for several years.
Top spot ?????'???'???'???'?

Another great outback experience. We were on flying tour and stopped to refuel and have a cold drink. Welcoming and friendly

Stopped for a few drinks on the way through to Coober Pedy. Lady at the bar was very friendly and her mum told us a great camp site up the road to stay at - was perfect so thanks!

Came in today to grab a couple beers and an icey pole for the kids. Stood at the bar for 10 mins while the bloke behind it chatted on his phone then disappeared into a back room without even acknowledging me. Walked out

The young pilot behind the jump tonight, is an absolute bottler of bloke! The friendliest and nicest person l have ever come across in my 55 years! Thanks Champion

A very quaint outback pub, meals basic but good. Lots of quaint memorabilia to browse. Dongas basic but clean and adequate for a comfortable night's sleep. Worth stopping.
Cam Wayland
Outback roadhouse, accomodation, pub, air service with nothing much around for quite a way, so you have to stop, and staff make you feel welcome. Good clean but simple cabin accommodation. Meals good. Great atmosphere in the pub chatring with other travellers. Can drink the water here via their desal plant and diesel generator should be shut down in the next week or so for a huge solar array with battery storage

A one night stop on our way west - basic Donga. Was clean and served as a spot to get a good night's sleep after a full day of driving. Meals over the road were really good pub food and staff were great even though they were flat out! Didn't have to wait long for our food.

Can't comment on room as we we're in a caravan. Heaps of space available if you want to be hooked to power/water. We we're on non power site, level sites & amenities very clean.
Staff are wonderful & always up for a chat. Meals are very reasonable l, don't forget that they are in the Oodnadatta Track therefore prices are high but it's all about the adventure enjoy it while your passing through.

We stayed in the 'Camel House'. 2 bedroom cottage run by the pub. The cottage was awesome. Pub food was good - highly recommend the goat curry. Nice warm fire at the pub and convivial atmosphere. Only reason this is not 5 star is that the shower was abysmal. Not pressure to speak off and it cycled between freezing and scalding with nothing in between. Actually dangerous for younger folks
Stephen Manson
The classic outback pub that has retained its heritage. Nothing fancy, wooden tables, uneven floors and the rustic bar is awsome. The food is good and the evening drinks cold. You can clear the fog with breakfast and fresh coffee. Deffinatley worth the effort to get there.

If your looking for damn tasty pub style food, friendly staff, and surprising good coffee, then keep driving past Marree and go straight to this gem at Williams Creek. With real outback charm, this pub delivers an well needed rest & cold one after a long drive. Now let's talk accomodation. Stayed in one of their cabins in the caravan park. Simple room, but hands down the best communal facilities I've come across on this trip so far. Clean, spacious and more than adequate. Do yourself a favour and have the camera ready for a breathtaking sunset, and some good old star watching.

Thanks to the lovely friend staff again for going the extra mile and being a wonderful reminder of what a good quality country pub should be. Great memories.
Chris Parsons
Great little pub. Good lunch. Essential stop
Paul McCormack
Fascinating place. The friendly girl who served us in the pub was our pilot for our Lake Eyre flight next morning. Brilliant!
Isuru Dissanayake
Great people, great place. The food at the Pub was absolutely great. We really enjoyed the goat curry.
One of the best outback hotels you can find.
Nathanael Walker
Pretty great all around. The rooms were good enough, the location was nice, and the people were fantastic.
Emma Routledge
Great spot for a beer. Quite and perfectly timed along the Oodnadatta track! Great Wall of tags and memories too
