Dropped in for a beer after a bushwalk at Alligator Gorge. Lovely lady behind the bar. These pubs need travellers support. As for the rude local, who probably can't read so won't see this, your attitude and disgraceful behaviour is what will destroy that pub, not the beer prices.

Horrible service, had to wait over 2 hours for our food! Which wasn't worth the wait. Poor waitress service. Unhygienic bathrooms and tables. Someone orders a steak on our table and asked for it rare, it was well over cooked. Better off driving into Pirie and eating somewhere there.

Wow, we called in here for a meal and it was so good! I got the 500g rump steak and my partner got the fish and chips! HUGE servings but was so good couldn't leave any! Prices are so good for the serve!!

Stopped for lunch in cute Willmington. Really disappointed with the food. We ordered burgers (beef for partner & chicken for me). Really not nice at all. Beef had an odd texture & the chicken was tough, dry & not nice at all. Such a shame as staff were nice & friendly.

Service was excellent, Beer was ice cold, food was spot on! Probably the best pub meal I've had in a while. Definitely worth stopping here. Highly recommended A+

Friendly pub. Good to see it open again. Reasonable choice of wine. Usual pub food that is difficult for vegetarians and impossible for vegans. Quaint dining room.

Great country pub that was pumping on a Friday night. Stopped for feed and cold one at Roo o'clock after a long drive. Great food, cold drinks and well priced. You won't go wrong here.

Great pub and accommodation. Cycling the Mawson Trail. The rooms are basic with shared bathrooms complete with creaky floor boards. But I really like these Colonial pubs. The Coopers ale on tap, the chicken parmigiana with veg or chips and salad. 5star.

A fantastic pub! A very warm welcome from the pub's manager started our experience followed by very friendly attentive service and cold beers. We just had to come back the next afternoon for some more and this time we added in dinner which was first class for service and the overall meals. We had a chicken schnitzel each and they were great.
Overall a very friendly down to earth pub that made some passing travellers time here very special.
Highly recommend a visit to this pub.

Great food friendly people meals not expensive but very nice

The food was delicious and service fantastic. I did order two beef snitzels to take away and thought $48.00 was a bit expensive for two snitzels. Other wise a great little pub.

Great feed and good menu for a country pub. Fairly priced and friendly service. A lot better than some other flasher pubs that are run like complete tourist traps.

Recently renovated and looking good. Very busy but owners still had time for a chat.

Staff were/are fantastic.Good old country service with a smile and chat. Rooms have been recently refurbished,Simple clean and a great bed. Shared Bathrooms with great hot water and pressure.
We called ahead and arrived late in the evening after a long day on the road. The service was so good that they even slapped together a meal for us....just for the record it was the best chicken snitzel I've had in a long time. Large enough to fill you without making you feel stuffed.
This great 100 yr old pub is worth the stay. Cold beer,good food,country charm and a bed what more could a weary traveller want or need.
Next time we're down this way this is definitely on my stop list.

Had the pan fried barramundi. Oh wow! It was so good and a generous serve too. I'll have that again!
