Woodville Hotel

My daughter and I went here for mother's day. The staff was lovely, friendly and bent over backwards to make sure we had an exceptional experience.

The food was good, the menu varied, the prices reasonable, and the serving sizes were huge!

Unfortunately we were sat next to a family who had an elderly member who was hard of hearing, and they spoke really loudly when talking to her, which was like something from Fawlty towers.
But that wasn't the fault of the restaurant. I wish they had requested a table away from other diners though.

We were were placed in front of a huge window with lots of light, and our lunch was otherwise great.

I've added a picture of my entree sized fish and chips, which was enough for a main even after I had eaten some of it. The children's menu portions are a similar size.

The food was pretty good when it did arrive. We were a table of 10 and waited over an hour for our food to appear, just not good enough. Smaller groups than us and another bigger table got their meals before we did. About 6 of us asked for a free coffee but were told they would only do a couple so none of us bothered. Won't go again.

Food is always great quality n well presented and tasty. Our food was delayed cause of a system ordering issue but the issue was handled really well and the manager Boyd was fantastic. Aliyah was great too.

Enjoyed our meals. The waitress was great when she saw that my friend accidentally knocked over the drink I just bought and she made another one and brought it straight over before we'd even finished cleaning the table

Great pub! One of the old pubs made new that has been serving good food for years. 😀

Consistently great food keeps us coming back again and again.
Lots of cocktail specials and each day has a special meal of the day.

Was a wonderful place for a family dinner great bar staff excellent food and wonderfully set up bistro

I have visited this place a lot of times as I work very close by. The atmosphere is great, they also have happy hour on cocktails and espresso martini which appeals to most. The food is good and I would recommend this place for a casual visit.

Was very loud but it was a Saturday night. Food tasted amazing and the only thing was that food took a while. (Like KFC!)
