Lovely local Hotel with great atmosphere & good food. Motel style rooms are clean with comfy bed & pleasant decor. Great hot shower! EVERYONE charging available.

Staff were friendly when we made booking late in the afternoon for accommodation that evening. We arrived late to a lovely tidy and clean room. Everything we could need for an overnight stop was there for us.

Really nice country pub feel to this place, very friendly barmaid and plenty of seating inside and outside alfresco area. Really loved my Garlic Chilli prawns and the missus' parmi was beautiful too. Pub classics done perfectly.

Typical Australian motel, but has recently been renovated and has spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Very quiet as you are kms from the highway. Great service from the staff who obviously work very hard. The pub is also nice and has good food. Enjoyed my overnight here and will return.

This is an AMAZING hotel. In all my travels through Australia, this is the most well maintained, well serviced, beautiful service... beautiful views! Warm fire place inside and out, and seriously great hotel rooms.

I would HIGHLY recommend staying here, eating here, and having a few drinks.

Yet another 5 star review for this comfortable, well located motel. The freeway bypassed Woomargama leaving a quiet backwater a 2 minute detour away.
Motel rooms are not flashy but very good value for money. They're recently renovated with top quality mattresses making for a comfortable nights sleep.
The pool is welcome on a hot day and the meals at the pub at the same establishment are delicious.
4 hours from Melbourne, 5 from Sydney, we have found a new place to stay travelling between the two.

Great place to stop between Melbourne and Canberra.
Had a small pool perfect for a refreshing dip after being in the car for hours. They provide pool towels which was a bonus.
Room was clean and bed comfortable. Had everything we needed.
Had dinner at the hotel, many locals, clearly a popular place to eat. Food was delicious and atmosphere was nice. Enjoyed watching the tennis while eating our meal.
Would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay on a stopover between Sydney and Melbourne. Rooms were clean, comfortable and the food was delicious. Service was also great! One downside was that there were mosquitos in the room and we all got bitten badly overnight, some bug spray in the room would have been good :) The only other downside was the guests who arrived and checked in late and kept slamming car doors, shining their car lights and the outside sensor light into our room for about an hour after their arrival when we were trying to get some sleep. This can't be helped by the hotel but it was annoying!

We just came off the highway and saw this lovely hotel/motel. Well worth staying at. Pillow top beds, very clean and you have everything you need. Plus the meals are delicious and very reasonable price wise. There is a pool too. Staff and owner are wonderful. Will return that's for sure.??'???'???'???'???

I went to Woomargama Hotel with my wife, children and in laws! Between our table we ordered 5 different meals. Each meal was exceptional and a cut above what one would expect - and be happy with - at a regional pub!
A fantastic and welcoming environment and the value of the meals was very impressive. I haven't seen value so good in years.

A little small and crampy at the table seating, especially when trying to fit 20 ppl.Meals looked good, dessert was even better. Parking at the front and on the side for vehicles and bikes. Service and friendliness of staff was excellent and very accommodating.All meals these days cost around the same$25 to $36.

What a fabulous little gem of a motel and hotel. Motel rooms are clean, modern equipped, comfortable and reasonably priced. Hotel has great food and service, again reasonably priced.

Cosy and convenient motel accommodation in a small country town a few minutes drive off the Hume Freeway (but far enough that you don't hear the trucks rolling up and down the freeway all night).

If you're arriving after 9pm, don't make the same mistake I did - the dining page of the website says it is open "until late", but that's only for drinks: the kitchen closes at 9pm, and it's a 1 hour round-trip drive to Albury for anything open later than that.

Staff are great - cheerfully sorted out some weird glitch that had occurred in the booking system, put me in a bigger room than I'd booked for no extra charge and poured me a complimentary drink while I waited for them to make sure it was made up.

I'll probably stop here again when making similar road trips - I'll just be sure to have dinner somewhere else first, or plan to arrive earlier in the evening.

What a hidden gem! Cosy, electric blankets, split system, newly renovated, smart tv, bathroom products provided. The attention to detail is noticeable, down to a darker towel provided for makeup removal to save the whites ? Arrived after hours and communication spot on for how and where to go. Our new regular for next time.

Saw the food and accommodation sign on the highway and was glad we followed it to this great place. Wasn't going to review as we felt this gem would be our secret so we can always go back and not be crowded out, but this place deserves great reviews.
The staff were friendly and took time to chat with us and made us feel relaxed and welcome. Even though it was school holidays, the motel was restful and quiet with no traffic noise to disturb. While there was wifi access, we chose not to use it and really cut loose from phones as well. Normal phone use was patchy but we didn't mind as getting away from it all was kind of the point of our break.
The rooms were clean to a high standard and the en suite bathroom thoughtfully appointed. We had all we needed to relax and a supportive, comfortable bed with somewhat tall mattresses to climb in bed and get out of!
The pub lunch and dinner menu was good and the food delicious and generously proportioned (food picture is at half eaten stage of seafood basket) . Breakfast wasn't available but as we were only breaking our trip overnight that was okay too since we needed to keep wandering on in our trip. We will be back for another refreshing stay away from the madness!

Our group had lunch at the Woomargama Hotel today. As a group of Senior Citz we were treated with respect and every effort was happily made to make us comfortable. Our meals were delivered quickly and were really enjoyed by all. We will be back.

Very friendly and caring staff. They helped me when I was unwell due to the extreme heat. Their swimming pool was a godsend. Well worth getting off the beaten track. Excellent meals, very comfortable rooms.

Excellent place to stay. Rooms are clean and spacious, friendly staff, area is nice and quiet, and there's a spectacular night sky view which makes the stay even more enjoyable. Good pricing as well. Make sure to book in advance, they get very busy in December/January. Would highly recommend.

The hidden treasure!! A beautiful drive in and out, lovely old renovated pub with matching lovely staff, and the room was modern, large and so relaxing. Has USB charging ports in the lamps. I cannot recommend the Woomargama Hotel highly enough. Super comfortable bed & soft linen. Do yourself a favour and at least just drive through and stop in for a bite to eat or drink if you're not planning on staying. Amazing rooms extremely large and the beds are super comfy. The rooms look like they have been fully renovated everything looks new. Check in was a breeze and the staff were super friendly. The pub next door was awesome. The outdoors deck was a great place to relax and have a few beers after a long day. Beers were very reasonably priced. They had a huge range of craft and specialty beers. We stayed on a Sunday night which was pizza night - the garlic cheese bread was superb as were the pizza's. Highly recommend this place for travellers looking to break their trip.

This is a terrific place for a meal stop on a long trip. The setting and the food are both great and the service is friendly. A real break from freeway driving. As a minor criticism, I have stopped by on two occasions and felt that the ambient music was slightly too loud for a comfortable lunchtime meal.

Lovely quiet spot to stop for the day or night. Toilets Lovely and clean, guys came in the morning to clean and restock. Great playground for the kids to play. Pub within walking distance.

Nice fresh room with everything we needed. We have 2 young kids and the staff were so lovely, even bringing their dog over for our kids to pet. It just had a beautiful, local, caring vibe to the place. The food was excellent at the pub and had a nice homely atmosphere. Highly recommend.

1970s Gem, just off Highway south of Holbrook. Clean, comfortable beds. Food in Hotel was nice. Nothing flash here but the price was GREAT.

Such a cosy lil place,real country vibe about it,right down to the pet friendly pub n motel off the back of it,got my rib eye fillet in the room,,not far off the m31, bout half way to Melbourne..Ill b stopping there every trip both ways..Thanx 4 making my lil miss n I feel so welcome....
