Yea Peppercorn Hotel

My financè and I arrived at opening dinner time without a booking and were promptly allocated a table with respectful polite service and attitude.
We were given ample time to look over the menu. Our order arrived in a timely fashion even for steak.
We were very pleased with our experience.

A very charming cosy restaurant, with an open fire. Gorgeous china plates, and lots of character and charm in the interiors. Our waitress recommended an excellent local shiraz. The steak was 10/10! We have been coming here for years, and it's still a favourite (and getting even better with each visit).

I'd just like to share that Bella our host for the evening was a star.

A couple of friends and myself popped in for a quick drink and Bella both made us feel warm and at home. There were jokes and some upsells on her end which turned out great because we haven't had a good bramble in ages.

We are yet to try the food but the service alone was enough for us to come back.

The building looks incredible, rustic and aesthetically appealing and the menu looks really yummy.

Warm cosy atmosphere with an open fire, perfect for lunch on a cold day. Food was good but my curry lacked presentation and condiments, like in the photo. Excellent wine but second glass did not arrive, had to get it myself at the end of the meal. The craft beer was stale and barely drinkable. The waitress took a few minutes to tally up the bill which took me seconds to calculate in my head. And in the end got it wrong anyway. She forgot to charge for coffee which I didn't mind 'cause it tasted very ordinary. I let her keep the $2 change. Would still go again though, but will sample the beer before I order. Pity no half stars, 3.5 would have been more accurate. But the waitress was very sweet and was her first day (different waitress who forgot the wine and had trouble operating the till), she earned the pub the extra half star.

Six of us had a fantastic lunch here. The staff were busy, but we were not in a hurry.
The staff were attentive and did a great job.
The food and wine were excellent.
A lovely layout inside.
Walking distance from the caravan park.
We will be back.
