Typical outback pub with very friendly and accomodating owner. Well priced meals and drinks. Clean accommodation with shared shower facilities (separate male/female though!).

Great little stop over from
broken Hill heading to Adelaide. Went it for a couple of beers, and had great menu options. Accommodation is also available. Nice cosy fire going.

Stopped in for a feed and a cold beer at the Yunta hotel, I had the sirloin steak with chips and vegetables and found it to be a top feed from a great country pub, I thoroughly recommend stopping in if you are passing through Yunta SA ??'?.

Great pub meal.
Big serves, fantastic prices and so tasty. Pulled in late, was great to park the van and stroll across the road for a wonderful meal and friendly faces.

Stayed here a few times.
It's actually awesome for the experience.
Shane the Publican is a legend and his mum is a decent chef.
- Meals are huge! You should get a free t-shirt if you finish the steak.
- The restaurant can be super busy on certain "local" nights (Tuesday).
- Good luck in the pool comp! Shane is a hustler!
- Rooms are basic but by outback standards, they are deluxe! Super high ceiling. Windows every room.
- Shared amenities are good. Great tea/coffee room with breakfast basics provided (including raisin toast!!!).
- Service stations nearby are open 6am.

Special thanks for the service from Shane.

Most nights I'd get back well after the kitchen closed. I'd phone ahead an order for the boys. Never a hassle. Usually the bar would still be open and it'd still be warm for us.

Two cold frothies & chops. Ready to go again!

Publican friendly beer cold and the meals were amazing. Had the chicken schnitzel which was huge with chips and salad. Absolutely beautiful. Whilst waiting for my meal a steak come out for a gentleman at another table The steak hung over both sides of the plate and he said it was cooked to perfection.
Couldn't recommend the meals enough.
Highly recommended and definitely call in have a beer and a feed and supportthese local outback communities.
And great service

We've been staying overnight at the Yunta pub for many years now on our annual trip to Arkaroola, and always look forward to it. It's a great, no nonsense country pub that offers friendly service along with decent rooms, good food and cold beer. I reckon it would do everyone good to spend a night here!

What a unique experience for a couple of city slicker chicks transiting the continent! Had a night off pitching the tent due to high winds and chose this little gem of a hotel for a real bed. Such a welcoming publican, a generous and well cooked meal and clean and comfortable beds in this 100 year old hotel. The gorgeous friendly kelpies in the back of the ute on our arrival was an added bonus.

Love this pub!! Have been coming here for many years. A nice addition is the new Cooper's taps, including the Legends larger which features two locals on the tap. The publican is great always up for a laugh. Will be back again and again.

Stopped over before heading north on my motorbike. Great undercover parking for the bike out the back. Good meal and a clean room. Friendly staff who have skin in the game. Recommended for a room, a meal and a chat.

If you would like to sample the hospitality and atmosphere of an outback pub, I recommend the Yunta Hotel, west of Broken Hill. The friendly, hard-working publican, Shane is ever attentive to the needs of his guests. The food was delicious, and the rooms, as you would expect in a 100 year old pub, were basic, but very clean. A delight to stay there. Add to that the beautiful locals sipping beers and shooting the breeze at the public bar, and you've got a memorable experience.

If you want to go and stay at a pub that is stuck in the 80s this is the place. Good landlord looks after the bar and guests treats locals and visitors well. The drinks were cold and well priced. The big negatives for me were the accommodation and food. There are only single small rooms, no TV the one I was in had a single bed. The shared bathrooms at the end of the hall were straight out of a 70s movie and the showers were so bad I couldn't bring myself to shower there. The only upside was the price. The food was at best average with looked like 3 small rissoles bought from ALDIs in packs of 100. Not for me sorry.

Good pub, generously sized meals at a good price - $25 for a rump or Scotch Fillet - winning!
Great RV camp right across the road. Fuel at cheaper prices than Broken Hill.
