First meal was a mango salad with chicken and was told it was very good, the other one was a pork chop, she said it was good also and my chicken parmigiana was a little bland. Crumbs weren't very nice and sauce was ok. But over all I would eat here again but maybe try something else.

Was my partners first time to Mackay and asked what's a good tavern, and I said Mount Pleasant! He wasn't disappointed. The welcome we got was very lovely especially when I said I just proposed to my man! ???? LGBTIQ friendly as well! :)

Large, clean rooms included breakfast, comfortable bed, patio AND a washing machine, dryer and washing powder in the room.. all for a most reasonable price!! $130 We were booked for 1 night but stayed for 2. As the Hotel is on the premises, we decided to eat there and found the service great and food delicious. A very good experience all round.
