Great bar in Launceston, we enjoyed our beer here but found it a bit awkward as everyone was sitting at the bar and the rest of the space was empty. It made it a bit difficult to go up to the bar to get your drink as there wasn't much space to stand and order.
Great booth space available though and love that you can order food from the curry shop down the road. Staff are friendly and helpful in...
Beautiful location for a quick lunch in the wine bar. We didnt have a booking in this busy restaurant but were easily catered for. Ordered 3 tasting plates. All extremely tasty and beautifully presented. Our waiter was amazing and the view over the water was just lovely. Thank you for the great experience
We tired this gem place with friends without super high expectations.
But we are absolutely blown away by Chef David! !
Each dish is a work of art, bursting with incredible flavors and presentation.
Thank you for consistently treating our taste buds to unforgettable experiences throughout the dining.
Would definitely recommend to friends.
Just had the best "Pot and Parmi" special ever, on a lovely, sunny Wednesday night. The food was brilliant, the beer cold, fresh and choice of anything on tap.
The pub is opposite Village Cinemas. Saw the locals pouring out after their films and into the pub, so knew it must be good!! My intuition was spot onπ.
Great place for a quick lunch!
From the moment we arrived the staff were really friendly and helpful.
We ordered the Crumbed Tassie Scallops and the Fish and Chips. The food arrived really quickly and both dishes were delicious - the scallops in particular were cooked perfectly.
With such great attentive service and also great music, we would throughly recommend the Gunners Arms!

The best food and amazing staff!! They all treat my Grandma like she's part of the family, I know they will continue to look after her when I go back home to Qld. Cody is an absolute darling, he takes the time and effort with all the oldies and always brings a smile to their faces! Will miss having lunch with Grandma and the pavs the best I've ever had!!! π₯°

We dined at The Plough Inn for my birthday lunch on Tuesday, it was the second time we have eaten there. As with our first visit the meal was top rate and the service was excellent. I had the fillet steak medium rare and it was cooked to perfection. I will definitely be making this a regular dining spot for me and my wife. Great job guys ππ»
I had an ale in this fine establishment, not only was it cool, refreshing and pint sized they also had stools on which to park ones posterior and consume aforementioned beverage in relative comfort. Therefore I must rate this enterprise 5 stars for attaining the expected requirements of a pub. Worth a visit on these merits alone.
Really good experience here. Dropped in for a meal and one of our party ordered a steak blue. He received it medium, said stuff it and started eating. Staff came to see us to ask about the meal, realised that the steak had been cooked wrong and bent over backwards to make it right, even though we would not have complained if left to our own devices. GREAT Service.
Ground floor feels a little...
